Corporate Philanthropy

Every two years Occam Solutions identifies two charities that will receive volunteer and financial support. One of the charities is selected by the President of Occam and the other by the company employees. Starting in 2012 Occam is supporting The Wounded Warrior Project and Brainfood.

The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) supports and raises awareness, by enlisting the public’s aid for the needs of injured service members.  The WWP also helps injured service members aid and assist each other while also providing unique, direct programs and services to meet the needs of injured service members.

Brainfood first opened its doors in 1999 to eight Washington, DC high school students. Founder, Suzanne Isack, created Brainfood with the goal of using food and cooking to provide high school-aged youth with supervised and structured activities during non-school hours which provides teenagers in Washington DC with an after school program through a positive approach based on the oldest and most universal of human traditions: Food.

In addition to our official corporate charities, Occam also contributes to the community through various volunteer and charity events such as the QAISC Golf Tournament or the Boys and Girls Club Annual Golf Tournament. Occam is always looking for new ways to contribute to the community and regularly posts volunteer events that are available locally.
