Occam Solutions Wins Contract to Support DIA with Technical Support Services

Washington, DC (March 9, 2012) – Occam Solutions, Inc., was awarded a prime contract with the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) to provide technical support and network engineering services.

Under the contract Occam will provide DIA with network design and implementation support for the U.S. Embassy Defense Attaché Offices (DAOs) worldwide. Occam will assist the DIA in the planning, build out, testing, and implementation of an updated infrastructure that will complement DIA’s current network design and support additional DAO-community users as well as the next generation of interactive IT applications.  Occam network engineers will utilize a Multiprotocol Labeling Switching (MPLS) transmission medium design to deliver enhanced capabilities and efficiencies to the network infrastructure, while reducing current network capacity and program services utilization via a scaled regional aggregation model.
