OCCAM Solutions Awarded Contract to Provide C4I Support to the Eighth ARMY Command Within Korea (7/1/2013)

Washington, DC (7/1/2013) – Occam Solutions, Inc. has been awarded a subcontract with DRS Technical Services, Inc. (TSI) to provide command, control, communications, and computer information (C4i) support to enable the Eighth Army (8A) Command and Control throughout the various unclassified and classified networks within the Korean Theater of Operations (KTO).

 

Occam’s mission is to design and maintain a distributed, web-enabled, and mission-oriented deployable capability through a ubiquitous tactical network environment by establishing, providing, and implementing to standards the C4i capability to support combined US and Republic of Korea (ROK) operations in Korea. In support of 8A G6, our services will expand across multiple network domains and functionalities thus providing the critical mission support needed.

 

Upon award of the contract Occam Solutions Managing Director, Dan Chun stated, “The PACOM Area of Responsibility has been a focus for Occam recently and we are pleased that we are increasing our presence in theater.  We look forward to working with DRS TSI on this and other endeavors.”
