Position Title: Siebel Software Development Project Team Lead
Position Description:
The Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the Siebel engineering team, providing strategic direction for future Siebel releases and act as a liaison between the engineers and the PMO and end Customers. Additionally, the team lead will assist with the development of technical solutions for the Siebel suite of application and perform overall configuration and development guidance for the engineering team. Actual responsibilities can be broken down into two categories:
Team Lead Project Management Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight and management of the engineering team ensuring timely execution of tasks and proper allocation of resources
- Interface with client personnel on a regular basis to assist in future planning for the Siebel system
- Provide project planning, resource planning and allocation, and scheduling for all development efforts
- Provide regular status updates/reports to the government program manager, noting recent accomplishments, issues, and risks
- Work closely with organization boards to request system downtime, receive approval to deploy, update security templates
- Provide technical documentation including creation, updates and maintenance of system documentation
- Provide regular updates to Occam Solutions Project Manager to include issues, risks, planned time off, future work efforts and achieved accomplishments
- Guide application releases through formal testing processes including regular migrations and regression testing across 3 distinct test cycles
Team Lead Configuration Lead Responsibilities:
- Design functional architecture of the Siebel system based on government requirements and goals
- Ensure timely delivery of all engineering services and development requirements
- Perform peer reviews on team developed modules and functionalities
- Ensure configuration management of configuration repository including all development components across all development teams
- Provide Level of Estimates for new requirements and assist with design of packaging requirements into a release
- Ensure all development efforts are standardized and coincide with government approved SDLC processes and procedures
Required Experience – Skills & Years:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with project management
- Minimum of 3 years client facing
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with Siebel 7 and Siebel Call Center architecture
- Minimum of 10 years overall work experience in the technology field
- Must be familiar with all stages of the SDLC and have planned and participated in an enterprise level Siebel implementation
- Siebel Certified Consultant
