OCCAM SOLUTIONS WINS CONTRACT TO ADVISE THE U.S. ARMY ON BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT/LEAN SIX SIGMA INITIATIVE (11/20/07) Washington, DC (November 20, 2007) – Occam Solutions, Inc. was awarded a contract with Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) to streamline the U.S. Army Installation Management Command’s (IMCOM) Business Improvement/Lean Six Sigma (BI/LSS) Initiative. Working with CSC, Occam Solutions will serve as Business Process Redesign Subject Matter Experts and Analysts for the Managed Minor Construction Process. Occam will analyze data at five worldwide installations and recommend a cost savings implementation plan through quality improvements and increased process efficiency. IMCOM was established in late 2002 to transform installation management by improving base support service delivery. The BI/LSS initiative was launched with multiple task orders to gain efficiencies, improving effectiveness, and deliver consistent and reliable services to the installations.
