FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

OCCAM SOLUTIONS ENHANCES DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE LITIGATION CASE MANAGEMENT CAPABILITIES (11/3/07)

Washington, DC (November 3, 2007) – Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) will subcontract with Occam Solutions, Inc. on a $42 million contract to support the Department of Justice’s Litigation Case Management System (LCMS). LCMS will give seven litigation divisions – Antitrust, Criminal, Civil Rights, Civil, Environment and Natural Resources, and Tax Division – as well as 94 U.S. Attorney’s Offices a greater data sharing capability using a single centralized repository and database.

Subcontractor, Occam Solutions, will help CSC and the DOJ improve LCMS by assisting with the development of a Siebel application. Occam will be responsible for the data migration effort and ensure that the data conversion, data validation, and user acceptance are successful. Under Occam Solutions, the Siebel system will have an overall architecture design and infrastructure sizing to ensure all of the DOJ’s performance requirements are met.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) awarded CSC in June 2006 a contract to build the department’s new Litigation Case Management System. According to a statement released by the DOJ “the goal for LCMS is to capture information once and make it available to all authorized users”.
