Washington, DC (June 28, 2011) – Occam Solutions, Inc., was awarded a SeaPort Enhanced (SeaPort-e) prime contract by the Naval Sea Systems Command for the provision of crucial professional services in twenty-two functional areas including software engineering and development, information system development, and IT support.
SeaPort-e is an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) multiple award contract and the primary procurement tool used by the U.S Navy and the Navy Systems Commands (NAVSEA, NAVAIR, SPAWAR, NAVFAC, and NAVSUP) as well as the Office of Naval Research, the US Marine Corp, and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency. The government estimates a maximum of 5.3 billion dollars of services will be procured annually via orders issued under SeaPort-e.
Upon award of the contract Occam Solutions president, Dan Chun stated “We have been providing valued services for the Navy for 5 years now and we are delighted we have expanded our contract base to include SeaPort-e, which will allow us more opportunities to continue this service.”
