Occam Solutions Awarded Subcontract from CSC to Provide Worldwide Engineering, Logistics and Business Operations Support

– Occam Solutions, Inc was awarded a subcontract by CSC (NYSE: CSC) to provide a comprehensive range of engineering, logistics and business operations services to the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Life Cycle Management Command (C-E LCMC), headquartered in Fort Monmouth, N.J. The initial effort will involve supporting forces in the U.S. Central Command’s area of responsibility through network management, field electronics repair and logistics supply chain management. CSC is the prime contractor on the Army Strategic Services Sourcing contract, under which this work will be performed.

Under the subcontract, Occam will provide the Army’s command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) community with expertise across a broad range of life-cycle services to meet rapidly changing and often unpredictable mission requirements. Services Occam will provide include systems engineering; software development, sustainment and support; program management and analysis; business functions; supply chain management; logistics; technical field assistance; test and evaluation; information operations/assurance support; facilities management; and administrative support in conjunction with new and existing systems, families of systems, platforms and C-E LCMC commodity items.

The Army’s C-E LCMC mission is to develop, field, sustain and support superior C4ISR systems for the Joint Warfighter in the sustaining base, tactical and strategic battlespace.
