Occam Solutions Names John L. Moring III Director Of Operations

Annandale, VA (February 9, 2009) – Occam Solutions, Inc is delighted to announce John L. Moring III as Director of Operations. In his new position Mr. Moring will have executive responsibility for Occam’s administration, personnel, and fiscal management. He will also formulate and facilitate Occam’s long-term strategy for continued growth.

Mr. Moring possesses more than 26 years of military and contracting experience serving the U.S. Government throughout the world. He is a successful leader in fast paced operational and strategic environments of high performance cross functional teams at the enterprise to field level, a polished multi-media speaker, and an expert in the development of long-range strategic plans. John has managed a $2.6B asset portfolio and spearheaded numerous organizational start-up, restructures, and closures internationally.

Mr. (Colonel) Moring also serves America as an Air Force Reserve Emergency Preparedness Liaison Officer assigned to the FEMA headquarters National Response Coordination Center. In this capacity he is a lead Air Force official for the Defense Support to Civil Authorities mission involving the preparedness, prevention, response, and recovery of man-made and natural disasters.

Mr. Moring earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Purdue University and is an MBA graduate of Purdue’s Krannert School of Management. He also completed a Master of Science degree in Project Management from Marymount University. John is a certified Project Management Professional® and member of the Project Management Institute.
